At Hudevad Radiator Design, we want to be a leader in sustainability, not only for our own sake, but also to make it easier for our customers and suppliers to choose a responsible business partner. The background to applying for EcoVadis certification was therefore to strengthen our competitiveness and to be able to clearly document that we work seriously and structured with sustainability.
An EcoVadis certification gives companies a unique opportunity to review the most important sustainability parameters, which include, among other things, the environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. For us, this process has been a valuable reflection exercise that has not only clarified our strengths, but also given us clear insight into where we can improve further.
The process of obtaining a certification requires a thorough review of the company's practices across the organization. We have analyzed and documented our working methods in detail and have involved several departments to ensure that we meet the high standards set by EcoVadis. This process has not only helped us secure a silver medal, but has also created a strong foundation for our future work on sustainability.
We are proud of our silver medal, but we see the certification as a springboard to do even better in the future. The assessment has given us a clear picture of where we stand and where we can develop, which is an important part of our journey towards becoming an even more responsible and sustainable company.
