The new Bodil Eskesen Neurorehabilitation center in Glostrup brings together highly specialized treatment and rehabilitation for people with brain and spinal cord damage in Eastern Denmark.
At the new neurorehabilitation center coherent patient processes are created in close collaboration with the existing Glostrup Hospital, which is right next door. The new center contains 125 single rooms and also includes training facilities with advanced rehabilitation technology, a training pool and a multi-functional training sports center as well as outpatient clinics and research areas.
In the middle of the building, you will find the center's heart - the central building, which forms the framework for the building's community and joint activities, and it is also here that you arrive as a patient. The central building, with its large window sections, exposes the life of the house to the park and also serves as the building's visual and organizational anchoring point. From the central building, there is, among other things, easy access to all floors and functions of the house.
The new center is located in the city but with its location and the surrounding nature offers patients, relatives and staff a unique contact with the recreational qualities of the surrounding parkland. All rooms in the house have a relationship to a green landscape situation, either in the form of a view over the large green features of the park or more intimate landscape gardens on and around the building
Hudevad has supplied all radiators for the building, of which several models are specially designed to adapt to the building and the architect's wishes for projects. Among other things, the focus has been on interaction with the building itself and the surrounding landscape, which is drawn in via large window sections from floor to ceiling, where special thought has been given to optimizing the incidence of light and the possibility of creating an unobstructed view.
All radiators are naturally designed to be extremely cleaning-friendly, so they are easy and quick to clean. Among other things, our Hudevad Integral Bench has been equipped with tilting fittings in the wooden seat, so that the radiator inside can be cleaned easily and quickly.
